1. Player Information
Name:What's your name or internet handle? What should we call you?
Username: Provide us with the AIM username, plurk name, email address, etc. that we should contact if we need to speak with you.
Current characters in ToS:If you have any character in game, let us know who they are!
Reserve: Please link us to your reserve comment on the reserve page.

2. Canon Character Information
If your character is an original character, skip this and move onto the third section.
Name: Character's name (and nickname, if they go by one)
PB: Who are you using for your character image? If icons are not uploaded to your character journal, please also include a link to an appropriate icon.
Journal: Link us to your character journal
Age: For characters like vampires or elves, include actual age and how old they look.
Appearance: Tell us about your character's physical appearance. Please also include any information that a person could tell from examining your character, such as posture, poise, frequent ticks.
History: We accept wiki pages that outline your character's history. If you can't link to such a page, please type out a history that should be at least a few paragraphs long.
Powers/Talents: If your character has supernatural abilities, list them here. Also include any strong talents or skills your character has.
Personality: This is really the meat of the application. You should get into what distinguishes your character from others. What are their goals? How would other people describe them? What do they desire, what are they afraid of? How do they present themselves, and what do they internalize?
Why would your character be chosen? Give us a sentence or two, guessing why your character might be chosen. Don’t worry about getting too deep or profound. You might pick a unique physical trait or an impressive ability. Just something that would make your character stand out from others in a way that would attract attention. For example, Helen of Troy might be chosen for her beauty. Xander Harris from Buffy might be chosen for his empathy. Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter might be chosen for her individuality, or lack of conformity. What makes your character unique?
How much does your character know about nonhumans? This will determine how much information about the Nysgods your character will have the option to bring into the game. For example, we might allow an Albus Dumbledore or a Rupert Giles to know a great deal of information about the Nysgods, while we will probably say that a George Costanza or a Cinderella would never have heard of them. If your character is very familiar with supernatural/alien/demon/etc species, please give us some detail about why they know this information. PLEASE NOTE this information will not affect your character's involvement in the metaplot either way.
Why this character: Why did you decide to play this character? What about them holds your attention? Do you think that you'll be able to keep this character voice and still find them interesting after playing them for awhile?
AU Addendum: If your character is an AU, please tell us here about what makes them AU and why you decided to make this change.
Past Game History: If your character is coming in with past game history, please tell us what that is and how it has changed them.

In Character
Full Name: Albus Severus Potter
Nicknames: Al
DOB/Age: March 12, 2006/21
Birthplace: London, England
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Fandom: Harry Potter
Journal: _alsevpotter
PB: Ryan Taylor
Alignment: Good
Canon Point: Canon: Post-Epilogue Character: Post-Hogwarts with a deviant year in Vegas and more than a little time spent kicking around LOMB
History (250 words minimum): Growing up a Potter was very much the sitcom it implies. Al's days were spent bouncing between his own home and the Burrow with his grandparents, or Diagon Alley with his Uncle George. He spent most of his childhood clinging to his father's leg and being quite over-dramatic when he disappeared for long periods of time. His holidays were noisy and enjoyable until James started picking on him, from then on out it was just another chance for James to be loud and the center of attention and for Al to hang out with Rose, Molly and Louis and hide.

But apart from that, Al grew up in a very warm, loving home with doting parents. Hogwarts was Hogwarts. He was sorted into Slytherin after a fight with James and meeting Scorpius, thus sealing his fate as the weird Potter kid in Slytherin. He took most of that in stride, keeping to Scorpius' side like paste on macaroni art. He avoided romantic entanglements, finding them weird and uncomfortable and he kept to himself.

His biggest joy in Hogwarts was the learning. He loved his classes with an embarrassing passion, finding a home in the library reading steadily through the books during his free time. He didn't join Quidditch, because the idea of getting knocked around the head with a Bludger didn't appeal to him.

Despite years of fighting, Al voluntarily moved in with James when he left Hogwarts, just to be out of the house and away from his mum pushing him to get a job.

And when things began to get really frustrating, Al suddenly found himself in Las Vegas, without any real explanation.
Previous Game History, if applicable (250 words minimum): All Relevant Logs Found Here, Here, and Here.
Personality (250 words minimum): Albus Potter is the world's greatest self-proclaimed Slytherpuff. He doesn't really embody the Slytherin personality, being far too cuddly for the backstabbing parts. He's still incredibly sneaky and manipulative when it's something that matters. Usually though, Al is a bundle of hyperactive energy, prone to mood swings in either direction at the drop of the hat.

Despite this, Al has very few enemies and some very dear friends who he loves and depends on. These are the people he purposefully surrounds himself with to keep happy. He's never one to jump head first into a fight unless the fight is close to home, and he'll still be the last one out the door unless things are dire.

His panic attacks started at an early age, brought on by long nights when his father wouldn't be home. The feelings of being helpless and alone would overwhelm him to the point he could hardly breathe, leaving his mother in a constant state of worry that something bad might happen.

He is reliable in so much as he's completely off his nut. People can depend on him to be a shoulder to cry on, but they can also depend on him to do something completely mental at the next turn, making spontaneous purchases, or springing plans on people like they have nothing better to do than cater to his needs.

But when Al loves, Al loves deeply, and he moves slow, constantly uncertain about what he's doing. Feelings of inadequacy press upon him often and he finds it easier just to fumble into things he might like, rather than planning them out. He's aware most people probably find him quirky at best and downright weird at worse.

Appearance: Al is tall. Like. Really stupendously tall. He's hovering at just around 6'3" and often times forgets that. Like really, honestly forgets. His forehead is a timeline of bruises when he forgot to duck through low-lying doors. He's skinny as a rail, and it has been proven that a strong breeze will knock him over onto his ass. He has messy black hair, green, green eyes and knobbly knees. He also has a small smattering of freckles across his nose and cheeks that aren't noticeable at a distance. He tends to dress overly casual, unless trying to make an impression, so most days he's found running around in hooded sweaters, torn jeans and trainers. He's often found wearing a thin layer of sugar and flour too.
Likes: Traveling, cats, chocolate and peanut butter, football, amusement parks, rolling around on the floor, quiet time, Regulus
Dislikes: Intense change, drinking, panic attacks, fish allergies, older brothers
Strengths: Kind/Accepting/Compassionate/Patient, super huggable, Vague Potter Charm thing, Being so unlike a Weasley it's deceptive, very, very distracting
Weaknesses: family disputes, family in general, inability to face change like an adult, bizarre social manners, laziness
Any special facts/special abilities/anything else we should know about your character? He's a pretty decent wizard, when he remembers he is one.
What is arriving with your character: His wand, his wallet, and a worn down paperback copy of The Commitments by Roddy Doyle
